Great experience with the Ballards team. From initial quote to moving day, they were very informative and helpful. The day we moved it was torrential rain, the guys were in great spirits despite getting drenched. The boxes and furniture stayed dry and secure. When we got the keys it was fast and seamless to get the van unloaded. We would highly recommend.

Ballards were fantastic from start to finish. They came on time to give us the quote. The person was dressed smartly, polite and thorough with the questioning to give an accurate quotation that was very reasonable. The removal people on the day were on time polite and respectful of us and our furniture. They took their time in wrapping and loading to make sure everything was safe and secure. When at the new property to offload some more of Ballard's staff came to help to make sure the job was done efficiently. They were brilliant and didn't leave until we were happy with everything being in the correct room. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future. We recently used Ballards on a big move from Nottinghamshire up to Dent, Cumbria. From the initial call with Steve, the video evaluation of all our stuff to the answering my multiple random questions over WhatsApp Steve was there. On the big day Rowan & Stuart arrived a bit early, introduced themselves and reassured us that there would not be any problem fitting our furniture on to the removal lorry. They were both extremely careful to protect the carpets and our walls as they were moving things out and the loading up was like a complicated jigsaw, very careful and secure. Day 2 to finish off went by in a flash and they were quickly heading north to our new home. The driveway and access to the house is very steep and a man made narrow track but this wasn't a problem for the Luton van they had brought along to decant from the big lorry which they had to park up several miles away. It was roasting hot but the team of 4 which now included Jake and Pete worked tirelessly to get our furniture into place as quickly as possible. In fact they all got up at 5am to enable them to arrive with the first Luton load by 6am. It was a really great experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again in the future. Thanks a million to you all for making this part of the process pretty stress free and comfortable.

My son used Ballard removals, on the day four men turned up with two Lorries . They worked non stop all day were very polite and nothing was too much trouble . If you’re thinking of moving I would recommend Ballards from the start. Thanks again Guys.

The Ballard team were great from start to finish. We were concerned if the removal van would be too big to get down the access drive. They actually went and reviewed it, ascertained a smaller lorry would additionally be needed to transfer the load up to the bungalow. The team of 4 on the day were lovely, so hard working, friendly and very good at what they did. Highly recommend the company. Many thanks for a painless removal

The day of packing, Ballards arrive early. There was just one person doing the packing which quite surprised me, but she did an absolutely brilliant job and was finished by 12. The next morning 2 vans arrived with 2 men to load everything up. There was an issue getting my beds out, but the team persevered and got the job done. Everything was loaded and ready to go by 11am. The vans were driving up north straight away but meeting me at my new bungalow at 8:30. I was asked where I wanted each piece of furniture and it was put exactly where I wanted it. Both vans were unloaded by around 11:30.

We used Ballards this week. The team communicated right up to moving date and the movers were amazing. Really polite and quick! It’s the second time we’ve used them and would definitely recommend!
