Excellent removal firm and I would recommend it without any reservations. The team was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them to carry out. They arrived on time in the morning at 7am and after a look round and a few questions to me got on with the job, 5 hours in all. I was given the opportunity to inspect all rooms and they left as promptly as they arrived. My belongings are going into storage provided by them (very good rate as was the whole cost of the removal) so I won't be seeing them for a few weeks.

Used Ballards for our removal from Worksop to Milton Keynes. The guys who took ownership of the removal were superb. They arrived on time, loading was super-efficient and even though there were delays with the completion on the day, they stuck with us, got everything offloaded until the end and just did an amazing job! Would 110% recommend them and wouldn't look anywhere else in the future.

Ballards were fantastic from start to finish. They came on time to give us the quote. The person was dressed smartly, polite and thorough with the questioning to give an accurate quotation that was very reasonable. The removal people on the day were on time polite and respectful of us and our furniture. They took their time in wrapping and loading to make sure everything was safe and secure. When at the new property to offload some more of Ballard's staff came to help to make sure the job was done efficiently. They were brilliant and didn't leave until we were happy with everything being in the correct room. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future. It was a pleasure to find a company that actually do their job with pride from the moment I made the call to me closing the door on my new home. Well Done Ballards!!!

Ballards were great. All went well with the move and your lads were a great bunch. Nothing was too much trouble, we could have a laugh (most important during a stressful time for us), and everything done professionally. The full packing service was worth every penny and everything moved with no damage or issues.

We recently used Ballards on a big move from Nottinghamshire up to Dent, Cumbria. From the initial call with Steve, the video evaluation of all our stuff to the answering my multiple random questions over WhatsApp Steve was there. On the big day Rowan & Stuart arrived a bit early, introduced themselves and reassured us that there would not be any problem fitting our furniture on to the removal lorry. They were both extremely careful to protect the carpets and our walls as they were moving things out and the loading up was like a complicated jigsaw, very careful and secure. Day 2 to finish off went by in a flash and they were quickly heading north to our new home. The driveway and access to the house is very steep and a man made narrow track but this wasn't a problem for the Luton van they had brought along to decant from the big lorry which they had to park up several miles away. It was roasting hot but the team of 4 which now included Jake and Pete worked tirelessly to get our furniture into place as quickly as possible. In fact they all got up at 5am to enable them to arrive with the first Luton load by 6am. It was a really great experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again in the future. Thanks a million to you all for making this part of the process pretty stress free and comfortable.

The day we moved it was torrential rain, the guys were in great spirits despite getting drenched. The boxes and furniture stayed dry and secure. When we got the keys it was fast and seamless to get the van unloaded. We would highly recommend.

Great communication throughout (emails responded to quickly and a real and knowledgeable person to talk to on the phone when needed) made everything run smoothly. We went for self pack and boxes etc were delivered in plenty of time, and turned out to be a perfect estimate of what we needed. Can’t praise the team on the day highly enough - wow they emptied our 3 bed detached house in no time at all and with great care and good humour. As before the two guys that came and packed me up and moved me were absolutely fantastic, because I’ve moved into a flat due to downsizing I needed my fridge freezer doors to open the opposite way and as I’m now a single lady and nearly 50 they did it for me which isn’t their job but as always they do go above and beyond. I didn’t even bother shopping around getting quotes as with Ballards you do get what you pay for and as last time there were not one item damaged or broken, I’m not planning on moving anymore but if I do Ballards will be the company that I use.
