We have recently moved home from Northamptonshire to Somerset. Throughout the whole process our experience of Ballards/Steeles of Stamford was excellent at every stage. We were impressed with the documentation prior to choosing a company, impressed with Shane the surveyor and with Lizz and Steve for phone contacts. Most of all though we were delighted with the team assigned to our actual removal. Brilliant service. Arrived at exactly the agreed time. 3 very polite and hardworking men moved everything and didn't want us to lift a finger. Handled all our belongings with care. Waited patiently whilst the solicitors did their thing. Unpacked everything with care and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. Move from Newark to Northumberland 6/7th Jan 2026 The 4 guys arrived as arranged at 8am, were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. We were packed up and ready to go by 11.30 which was fantastic. The following day they were already at the new property by 7.30 and started work immediately. Again they were finished by 11.30 even though there were only 2 of them this time. They even found 2 tiny screws from our bed fitting that had fallen off into the van - saved us a lot of hassle and meant we could spend our first night in our own bed - marvellous. They couldn't have worked harder or been more helpful if they tried. Our move couldn't have gone any better and we would highly recommend your company to anyone. From start to finish, your company made it easy to complete our move and was the least stressful of the buying, selling and moving process. Thank you.

They arrived on time, loading was super-efficient and even though there were delays with the completion on the day, they stuck with us, got everything offloaded until the end and just did an amazing job! The person was dressed smartly, polite and thorough with the questioning to give an accurate quotation that was very reasonable. The removal people on the day were on time polite and respectful of us and our furniture. They took their time in wrapping and loading to make sure everything was safe and secure. When at the new property to offload some more of Ballard's staff came to help to make sure the job was done efficiently. They were brilliant and didn't leave until we were happy with everything being in the correct room. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future.
